About this Bursary
Mr. Norman Hicks was a long-time Kiwanian, a tireless community volunteer and a pillar of the Saint John Club. He was a champion of the Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs, such as K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club and Key Leader Camps. In 2021, The Kiwanians established a permanent fund for bursaries to be awarded to a student in the amount of $1000 who have graduated from a high school located in Greater Saint John and pursuing a post-secondary education.

Selection Process
Kiwanis Charities will select and award the bursaries each year.

- Have graduated from a high school located in Greater Saint John; - Pursuing post-secondary education; - Entering first year of full-time post-secondary studies; - Perseverance to succeed; - Solid work ethic; - Leadership qualities; - Community involvement/volunteerism; - Financial need.
